the location is excellent, central, exactly one block from Union Square and the shopping area, fancy resturants, fun activities, and right by the metro and other transportation means.
There is no elevator but the staff are willing to help with the luggage and if one is staying for a short period no problem

Staff were friendly and helpful.
they did not have the right price--they were going to charge me $10 more for the room. Breakfast was a bagel and coffee--not a fresh bagel.

The location and price were the best things I liked about this hotel, if your into walking most things are in walking distance and its also near the subway.
The only thing I didn't like was there wasn't a lift, its just awkward when you have luggage to carry up the stairs.

Staff was nice, rooms were clean. For a place to lay your head the price was right.
It seems that there may be some long term renters in other rooms. They didn't cause any trouble or make tons of noise but as this is not a majot hotel it did throw us off a little bit. Also out private bathroom had another door to acces it from the hallway and looked as if someone at some point tried to kick the door in.

I liked the location, small size and hominess.
The continental breakfast could use some variety, in its pastries.

The location is good, there is a subway entrance right next to the hotel. Lots of places to eat, bars and supermarkets in the neighbourhood. Rooms in the back are quiet, no noise from the street or anything. Private bathroom with a comfortable shower. Room cleaning every day. Nice and friendly staff.
There was no elevator and we were on the fourth floor. There was no airconditioning and it was 88/30 degrees Fahrenheit/Celcius (but I think they were installing ac the day we left, so it might be better right now). There was only one small window, that looked out on the wall of the next building. The breakfast was the same everyday: bagels and cream cheese or jelly. Not many tv channels. No microwave, no fridge.
